I wanna get a longboard to use it mostly for transportation and cruising. I'm not into tricks but speed is a plus if you could recommend any thanks!

loaded longboards suck for speed but ride nice.

landyachtz drop speed (versatile speedboard)
landyachtz evo (worlds best speedboard)
sector9 carbon decay platinum (great carver and cruiser)
sector9 luke nosewalker (super long cruiser that is a tank)
rayne longtreks demonseed (the most comfortable cruiser)

also look at larger wheels like 75mm.

the best wheels are abec11,orangatang,retro, sector9 race formula

For transportation and cruising, I always think about weight. Landyachtz makes good, solid, durable boards but they’re pretty heavy if you end up having to carry them around at all on campus or wherever. One of the most versatile decks for cruising but that you can also freeride/slide on and take into high speeds without getting wobs is the Earthwing Supermodel. Plus its only $ 99 for the deck which is a drop through. Loaded makes awesome boards but you wouldn’t want to get going very fast on them. The Rayne Nemesis is another bamboo board that’s pretty light weight but still stiff making it versatile for all kinds of riding. It’s a drop deck and a little more spendy than the Earthwing though.
