I was really looking forward to this item, only to receive it and find that I could not easily attach it to the Canon G-10. I’m having a difficult time trying to contact the manufacturer to find out if I need an adapter. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not a bad product, just not great. If you want something fun to get a little closer this will do the trick. If you want your work to be a little more professional, keep saving and spend some dough.
This lens has strong vignettes even on maximum zoom. The chromatic aberrations near the edges are not bad bad but they’re noticeable.
Relating to telephoto lenses and teleadaptors/teleconverters in general, be mindful, you will have to hold the camera much steadier and of course the more powerful the zoom the darker it gets.

When I first got the product, I was very excited to start using it. But after a few shots, and also trying to steady my hands, it wasn’t really what i was expecting it to be.
I agree with the reviewer before me. “The more powerful the zoom the darker it gets.” I’m wondering if I wasted my money on a product that isn’t really very helpful to me.
It does have its good points though, It takes very clear pictures of written items. Like very very far away written items. For example, a street sign. But your hands have to be very steady. And that’s a little hard to do when you just want to keep taking photo after photo.
Other than that, it was really a waste. It’s hard to make it to do your bidding.
